The vendor known as Peanut Corp. of America has Kellogg on its client list. Peanut Corp. of America is based in Lynchburg and has recalled 21 units of butter which were produced from 1st July at its plant in Blakely, Georgia due to salmonella contamination.
After receiving several complaints from the consumers, Kellogg has asked stores nationwide to stop the distribution of its peanut butter cracker sold under Austin and Keebler brands.
The salmonella outbreak has sickened more than 430 people in several states and officials also suspect that some deaths may have been due to the peanut butter.
People, one more reason to stop eating so much of peanut butter. I think this will, for some time, help people in their weight loss efforts.
